Deciduous tree. Slow growing but vigorous for a Japanese maple. Upright, broadly-spreading vase shape. Bright green foliage turns bright yellow in fall with a flush of orange if weather is cold enough. New branch growth shows striking coral-red color in fall and winter. Moderate to regular water needs in well-drained soil once established.
