Description
Deciduous tree. Fast growing. Broad oval crown. Elongated, bright green, toothed leaves turn yellow in the fall. The straight species has many faults – prone to box elder bugs, suckers badly, subject to breakage, and seeds regularly. The named varieties improve on the species. Moderate to regular water needs in well-drained soil once established.
