Evergreen tree. Tall, dense, shrubby habit. Blue-green foliage is soft and narrow. Red stems and leaves when young. Clusters of fragrant pale-yellow flowers bloom from late fall to early spring. Good for coastal plantings except for severe salt-spray. Tolerates most soils but does best if it drains well. Low water needs once established.
