Evergreen to semi-evergreen perennial. Strappy, grass-like gray-green leaves have white-striped margins and form slow spreading clumps. Blue-violet star shaped flowers bloom spring into early summer and are followed by blue-purple berries that last another couple months. Moderate water needs once established. Adaptable to various soil conditions if not soggy. Hardy to 20-25°F.
