Deciduous perennial. California native. Large, elongated, fuzzy, somewhat wrinkled looking foliage is gray-green. Flowers are fluffy round balls of pink, cream, and white. Blooms from spring to late fall. Attracts bees and butterflies, especially Monarchs. Moderate water needs once established. Adapts to a variety of soil conditions, but requires good drainage. Hardy to 0°F and below.
