Deciduous perennial. Clumping, with finely divided leaves. Large blue purple-bell shaped flowers held over the leaves in spring. Best in a cool location, may go dormant in summer heat but will return again in spring. Deer resistant. Moderate water needs in well-drained soil once established. Hardy to 0°F or below.
