Evergreen shrub. California native hardy to sun and drought. Velvety-soft silver leaves are heart-shaped and dense. Striking cup-shaped gold flowers bloom nearly year-round; peak bloom time in spring and summer. Attracts bees and other beneficial pollinators. Deer resistant. Very drought tolerant once established, but requires excellent drainage.
