Perennial from bulb. Large, green, fleshy leaves rise directly from the rhizomes. Extremely showy flowers are rose pink, and have a yellow finger-like center. Flowers are borne atop a leafless stalk and appear in late spring through summer. Moderate to regular water needs once established. Hardy to 10-15°F.
