Deciduous vine. Trained to grow on a trellis. Long, bright green, pinnate leaves. Drooping clusters of fragrant, pea-like purple flowers in May. When flowers are done a velvety, pendant style seed pod develops. Highly suggestable size and shape depends on pruning and structure to grow on. Moderate to low water needs once established.
