Deciduous tree. Evergreen in very mild climates. From China, Korea, and Japan. Form is extremely variable. Generally spreading, with long, arching eventually weeping branchlets. Leathery, dark green toothed leaves. Round fruit produced in fall. Low to moderate water needs once established.
