Evergreen perennial. Used as a groundcover. Gray-green fleshy rosettes very slowly spread outward via “pupping”. Reddish-purple flowers begin in spring and continue through summer. Has a fine, web-like thread connecting through the rosettes. A favorite for rock gardens and slopes. Deer resistant. Low water needs once established. Hardy to 0°F and below.
