Deciduous tree. California native. Light green foliage contrasts with abundantly clusters of creamy white flowers. Spring blooms are followed by clusters of blue berries excellent for pies or making wine. Although the tree is deciduous it comes out into leaf very early and drops leaves very late. Ideal for habitat gardens as it attracts butterflies, bees, hummingbirds, and songbirds. Drought tolerant once established.
