Deciduous perennial. Medium sized, heart-shaped, hairy, dark green leaves are mildly aromatic. Pinkish-white flowers with a coral colored lower lip appear in summer and fall. Deer resistant. Attracts bees and hummingbirds. Low to moderate water needs in well-drained soil once established. Hardy to 25-30°F.
