Deciduous perennial. Dense medium green foliage spreads by rhizomes, best divided every 2-3 years. Large yellow and mahogany centered daisy-like flowers with brown centers bloom above the foliage from late spring through fall. Excellent as a cut flower and in mass plantings. Deer resistant. Drought tolerant once established, but requires good drainage. Hardy to 0°F and below.
