Deciduous shrub. Long blooming and virtually trouble-free. Low, spreading habit and stems lined with sharp woody thorns. Its compound leaves are shiny, leathery and dark green. From late spring to frost, it offers an abundance of long-lasting, double, velvety red flowers. Little to no fragrance. Moderate water needs in well-drained soil once established.
