Deciduous perennial. Long, thing green leaves on slender stems. Bell-shaped, soft orange flowers dangle in spring where the leaves meet the stems. Blossoms are followed by inedible but attractive blue-black berries. Moderate to regular water needs in well-drained soil once established. Hardy to 10°F and below.
