Semi-evergreen grass. Dwarf variety is shorter and narrower than regular Gracillimus. Fast growing with clumping form. Long, narrow, dark-green leaves with white stripe down the center. Three to four foot tall, copper-colored seed plumes turn cream color when mature. Deer resistant. Moderate water needs once established.
